India

Various Positions

We have a variety of positions available in our India office. These include:
  • Product Marketing Manager

    Windowmaker Software is looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Marketing Manager who will be responsible for helping formulate, refine and implement the company’s marketing strategy globally. You will form part of the India team based in Vadodara, Gujarat and will need to work in close co-ordination with the top management locally and at the Head Office in the UK. You must be well organised, be able to grasp technical information quickly, have strong communication skills and an ability to think out-of-the-box. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an advantage.

    Key Tasks: Running focussed product campaigns for different geographical markets. Creating marketing literature for the website, brochures, banners, etc. Creating templates for documents and communications being sent out from other departments of the company to customers and/or prospects. Managing our web presence. Working in close co-ordination with the Sales team to gather market intelligence to decide whom to target and with what USP.

    Skills required: Experience with Microsoft Office, and experience or ability to work with other standard software packages. Good English (written and spoken). Confident and clear communication. Initiative and a proactive approach to work.

    Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering and/or MBA (Marketing)

    Experience: 6-10 years’ experience with marketing of technical/technology products. Experience in marketing high-end software solutions would be an added advantage
  • International Support Engineers

    Handling the techno-commercial aspects of project deliveries to the window manufacturing industry. The detailed description would include ensuring correct estimates for new projects; scheduling projects when orders received; ensuring projects are progressed to be delivered as committed; liaising with customers for quick responses to queries; monitoring/shuffling projects to accommodate urgent deliveries; MIS to top management regarding project progress; ensuring commercial viability of projects.

    Skills required: Technical understanding and analytical skills, clear written and verbal communication, ability to see the bigger picture, good business perspective. Knowledge of project management tools, e.g. MS Projects, will be an added advantage.

    Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering

    Experience: 6-10 years in a Techno-Commercial role.

• Office Administrator / Manager

Salary: £15,000 to £22,000 depending on experience
Duration: Permanent and full time
Location: Surbiton

The Opportunity

Then this could be a rewarding opportunity to work with an experienced top team that involves sales support, marketing administration, office management and can lead into involvement with strategic decision making.

The Role

The key purpose is to manage the day-to-day office and sales administration including:
• Sales order processing and licensing issues
• Credit control
• Sales support for the Sales team: organising tradeshows, travel, follow up on quotes and campaigns etc.
• Dealing with suppliers: Banks, government organisation, obtaining supplier quotes.
• Basic Office 'maintenance': keeping stationery and other office supplies full, organising cleaning/recycling etc.
• In charge of petty cash and expenses management
• Online banking: preparing and submitting payments and keep tracking of account balances.
• Ensuring the phone is always answered and dealing with the calls by transferring, taking messages etc.

The Person:

You will be a confident self-starter who has excellent communication skills and proven office administration experience. You will be enthusiastic to accept a new challenge. You will have the following skills: • Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task
• Attention to detail and organised
• Able to use Microsoft Office to a competent standard.
• Fluent in English. French or Polish language fluency is a definite advantage.
• Good telephone manners.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Excellent communications skills and organisational skills.

• Sales Executive

Windowmaker Software Ltd is looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive who will be selling direct to end-user customers both in France and the UK. Windowmaker is one of the world's leading supplier of software solutions to the window and door industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for applicants seeking a pro-active role with great career prospects. Working within a fast-moving environment, the key responsibilities will be:
  • Managing and following up sales leads generated through the website and marketing campaigns
  • Creating and sending proposals to potential and existing customers
  • Providing excellent customer service to existing customers
  • Managing the CRM database, ensuring details are kept up to date
  • Working closely with the marketing team to ensure appropriate product offering for the markets
The successful candidate will form part of the head office team based in Surbiton, Surrey. Together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, you will be able to demonstrate good organisation and communication skills, and excellent written French and English. Ideally you will have some direct sales experience, and relish working for a small but growing company. Knowledge of either the IT industry or the window and door market would be favourable. The ability to speak French fluently is essential, and other languages would be considered beneficial.

North America - Technical Support Executive, Bilingual

Windowmaker Software is looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated technical support executive who will be responsible for customer support and training plans both in the UK and overseas markets. This is an exciting opportunity for applicants seeking a pro-active role with great career prospects. Working within a fast-moving environment, you will be responsible for providing support to users and VARs worldwide via email, telephone or fax, responding to pre-sales and post-sales support issues, analysing and specifying a solution for the customer, liasing with development teams to progress solutions, providing on site training to Windowmaker customers and going on site to install software. The ability to speak French would be advantageous. You must be well organised, be able to grasp technical information quickly, with strong communication skills and sharp analytical reasoning. Knowledge of, and qualifications in, Microsoft software preferred.

A self starter with a strong work ethic, you will need to be a focused individual capable of exceeding sales targets. You will need to be tech-savvy, an effective communicator and confident of presenting solutions to both technical and board level staff. Exposure to/ experience in the window/door industry will be a massive advantage.

You will be part of a small friendly team of a successful Australian arm of Windowmaker Software. You will need to sell ‘solutions’ to existing customers, and develop new opportunities and accounts.
